Extension installation guide

A separate Chrome and Edge extension reads your encrypted cloud backup. Manual installation is required.

  1. On Android, open Settings → Cloud and sync → Connect cloud backups. If no backup exists, create a separate password of at least 12 characters. Keep the password and wait until the backup is uploaded successfully.
  2. Download the ZIP and extract it to a permanent folder on your computer.
  3. Open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions. Enable Developer mode, choose “Load unpacked” and select the folder containing manifest.json.
  4. To update, replace the files in the existing extension folder, click Reload on its card and check version 1.6.5.
  5. Click the Key369 icon to open its own tab. Approve access to the server. Clicking the icon again returns to that tab without resetting the form.
  6. Request a code for the same email. You can open your email and reopen the extension: the request is saved. Enter the 8 digits from the latest email. Once signed in, enter your separate cloud backup password.
  7. After “You are signed in”, enter the cloud backup password you set on your phone. This is a separate step: the email code does not work here. Use the same email on your phone and in the extension.

Version 1.6.4. The extension displays and copies codes; add and edit accounts on Android. Website autofill is not supported. It is not yet published in the Chrome or Edge extension stores.
